The role that technology plays in a child's education in today's world is becoming more and more significant.  Computer skills help students learn more effectively, earn higher grades, and eventually earn higher wages.  In many cases the lack of resources in the classroom leads to great disparities between what is actually being taught in schools and the skills that are sought by employers.  In an effort to help shrink this gap in the Philippines, Buan Consulting, Inc. is asking people to donate their retired personal computers to be sent to needy schools in the rural regions of the Philippines that were affected by the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo.  All donations are 100% tax deductible and tax receipts will be provided.
