Problem: There was no current integration between CLM and Salesforce. Unorganized Document folder structure and SOW Templates weren’t merging any Salesforce.com Data from Accounts or Opportunities. Clause Libraries needed to be dynamic and in rich text in SOW.
Solution: Buan integrated SpringCM application into Salesforce to create central repository for documents and generate SOW documents. We also implemented SpringCM FileIt application to organize Documents automatically by Accounts and Opportunities. Merged Opportunity and Account fields in SOW Templates via SpringCM Doc Launcher. Lastly we implemented new SpringCM merge engine to support rich text in clause libraries
Benefits/Results: Document management is all in one place, simplifying the user’s sales process. With automated creation process, CTP’s sales team is more efficient in creating SOW’s with less errors.
